Santoku is Japanese for ‘3 Ways’ and this refers to the all-round suitability of these knives to slice, dice and prepare food as required. The Katana Saya Olivewood Santoku Knife 12cm is a great all-round knife with a fluted blade to relieve sticking. This version is the smaller Santoku with a 12cm blade.
The Eastern olivewood range comes gift boxed with a wooden ‘Saya’ that offers the perfect protection for your knife, protecting yourself and others from its supremely sharp edge. The blade has a 67 layers of VG-10 Damascus steel, the highest quality steel with a high carbon content that gives it exceptional toughness.
The exquisite craftmanship in these knives can be seen in the elegant layered damascus pattern on the blade. The blade is finished with a comfortable to hold, light olivewood handle with opal ring which strikes a balance between opulence and hard wearing-durability.
