Forged in Sheffield, the heart of the British steel industry, Grunwerg was established in 1945 by Otto Grunwerg, a refugee from war-torn Vienna. During the years that followed, Otto kept his eyes firmly on the future and grew the business to become a successful manufacturer of knives and cutlery. With a strong team of local designers and craftsmen, Grunwerg products were manufactured in the UK until the 1970s. Grunwerg products are made to enjoy life, to bring pleasure to cooking and dining. They aim to sell and offer quality products that can last a lifetime, designed for a life lived beautifully.
