Global Ceramic Knife Sharpener Red Handle with Black Dots is one of three Global pull through ceramic wheel sharpeners which offer a quick and optimum sharpening solution.
Three models are produced and designed specifically to suit the cutting angle of Global knives which have a shallower angle than European knives The ceramic sharpening wheels for all models are set at the correct angle for Global knives to the sharpening grooves. They are hard wearing and come in two grades; the white wheel is a coarse grade and the pink wheel is a fine grade each of which allows for different sharpening requirements. The wheels are housed in a covered reservoir to which water should be added to prevent overheating while sharpening. Spare wheels are available for all models.
Please note these sharpeners are not for use with any serrated knife or knives sharpened on one side only.
