Gin Journeys by Waterford

Gin Journeys' has been designed with input from Gin experts to ensure that the trend in craft gins and sophisticated gin cocktails can be fully enjoyed. The collection features shapes designed for the ultimate enjoyment of gin: a balloon glass with short stem for high volume alcohol gin (greater than 39% abv) and a slim highball for low alcohol gin (less than 39% abv).

Both designs help to enrich the aromas and infuse the flavours of the botanicals in the gin blend providing an enhanced drinking experience which savours all ingredients. The collection contains six designs in a wonderful array of elegant crystal cuts and patterns, all packaged in elegant signature black gift boxes which tell the story of Waterford and the historical ‘Gin Journey’.

Dating back to Victorian times, when spices and botanicals were being imported to Ireland from across the globe, they travelled through County Waterford and up the famous Blackwater River where they were distributed to the great houses and distilleries of Ireland. Combining Waterford’s rich Irish heritage and capturing this rising popularity ‘Gin Journeys’ is a perfect blend of old and new allowing a new appreciation of this classic spirit.
